1. Administrative Associate (Admission / Student Helpdesk)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the admissions team with data entry, filing, and processing student applications.
- Manage the student helpdesk, assisting student with inquiries
- Work with the receptionists as a team, welcome and direct parents and visitors to the meeting venue
- Manage the scheduling and tidiness of meeting rooms in the school office.
- Assist in school events
- Assist in ad-hoc duties and administrative work as assigned
Requirements:
- Higher Diploma or above with minimum 3-year reception or office administration experience
- Good command of spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a warm, welcoming demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
- Pleasant, organized and a good team player
- Proficient in MS Word Office, Google Workspace and Chinese Word Processing
2. Theatre Technician /Junior Theatre Technician
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide routine AV setup, equipment preparation, and operational support across all specialized school venues and classrooms.
- Collaborate closely with school teachers and staff to execute full technical support (audio, lighting, video) - including system programming, sound checks, setup and strike for school events, productions, meetings and external activities under the supervision of senior AV tech staff,
- Maintain the operational health and readiness of all campus AV equipment, providing swift venue technical support and Tier 1 classroom troubleshooting while ensuring all AV storage areas, backstage and control booth are kept organized and safe.
- Manage and coordinate the venue booking system schedule and maintain an accurate, up-to-date inventory of all school AV assets.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent theatre diploma/certificate is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
- Basic knowledge and hands-on experience operating commercial-grade digital audio mixers, lighting consoles and video softwares (including but not limited to, GrandMA lighting consoles/ ETC Eos Family; Yamaha Digital Mixers; Qlab; live streaming equipment; and Zoom or related conferencing and translation software).
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin (both oral and written).
- A proactive self-starter with a proven ability to work independently and with high attention to detail, while remaining a collaborative team player to ensure all school events run smoothly.
- A strong working knowledge of theatre health and safety practices, with the ability to strictly follow school and performance venue safety protocols.
3. Performing Arts Assistant & Technician
Key Responsibilities:
AV support of Music and Theatre curricula (teaching & Learning)
- Operate lighting/sound for MYP/DP lessons, assessments, and performances
- Assist with performance recordings, unit planning, and sourcing teaching materials.
- Train teachers and students in using lighting and sound equipment
- Support Performing Arts after school activities as needed
AV support with Events
- Assist with secondary productions, performances and concerts
- Liaise with teachers, VSA AV team and event organisers
- Manage performing arts projects, including sets, costumes, props, design, rooming
- Assist with management and organisation of performance spaces and equipment
Department support of spaces and equipment
- Overseeing and tracking equipment
- Maintenance of music and theatre equipment
- Assist with procurement
- Keeping rooms organised and tidy
- Liaising with other members of the Arts team, other departments including the IT/ Audio Visual department
Requirements:
- Secondary school completion (HKDSE or equivalent) required; Post-secondary certificate or diploma preferred (Theatre / Music / Media or related field)
- Prior school or education-related experience
- Experienced in operating audio, lighting, and video gear, and familiar with classroom AV
- Basic troubleshooting for Macs/PCs, iPads, and projectors, with strong file backup and organization skills.
- Fluent in English (Cantonese/Mandarin is a plus)
- Able to work independently, collaborate with teams, and liaise with central IT/AV teams
- Highly energetic, proactive, and organized; thrives in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment
- Agile, adaptable, and willing to work evening events as needed
- Intermediate IT / AV literacy (comfortable with computers, classroom tech, and common creative software)
4. Design Technology Technician
Key Responsibilities:
- To prepare materials required by teachers before lessons
- To assist teachers and students during practical lessons
- To ensure the equipment and machinery are regularly inspected and maintained
- To maintain a safe working and learning environment
- To be responsible for the storage and replenishment of supplies and equipment
- To support the development and delivery of Computer-Aided Design and Computer-Aided Manufacturing in Design Technology
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree holder
- Good command of oral and written English and Chinese
- Working experience in an educational setting is desirable
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to show initiative and work independently
- Interest in Computer-Aided Design and Computer-Aided Manufacturing
