For the School Year 2021-22:

1. University Counsellor 

2. IB MYP & DP Mathematics Teacher

3. IB MYP & DP English Teacher

4. IB MYP & DP French Teacher

 

1. University Counsellor 

• A related degree, preferably a Masters or postgraduate degree in counseling, education or another related field
• Previous school experience in university guidance counseling and/or university admissions
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to write clearly and persuasively
• Expertise with the university admissions process; previous success with admission to top universities worldwide, familiarity with applications in key destinations such as US, UK, Hong Kong, Canada, and Europe
• Proven familiarity with college and university networks
• Professional relationship with organizations like NACAC or International ACAC
• Working knowledge of university admissions online platforms
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Enthusiasm for pastoral care and building strong relationships with students; this includes homeroom teacher and PSHE responsibilities
• A growth-mindset looking to continually improve and engage with school and its community on programmes related to university counseling and school activities
• Familiarity with MYP, the IB DP, and applications with a US high school diploma equivalent
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to a new cultural environment


 

2. IB MYP & DP Mathematics Teacher

• An undergraduate degree in Mathematics and a recognized teaching qualification
• A passion for teaching Mathematics and experience with subject enrichment
• An ability to work in a large team and to coordinate own short- and medium-term planning with others
• Experience teaching IB (MYP and DP)
• A commitment to student centred inquiry based learning
• Enthusiasm for pastoral care and building strong relationships with students; this includes homeroom teacher and PSHE responsibilities
• A growth-mindset looking to continually improve
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to a new cultural environment


 

3. IB MYP & DP English Teacher

• An undergraduate degree in English and a recognized teaching qualification
• Relevant experience teaching English Literature and English Language & Literature to senior secondary level students
• A qualification and experience in working with students for whom English is an additional language is an advantage
• Experience teaching IB (MYP and DP) with an emphasis on DP English Literature
• A commitment to student centred inquiry based learning
• Enthusiasm for pastoral care and building strong relationships with students; this includes homeroom teacher and PSHE responsibilities
• A growth-mindset looking to continually improve
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to a new cultural environment
 


 

4. IB MYP & DP French Teacher

• An undergraduate degree in French and a recognized teaching qualification
• A passion for teaching French and experience with subject enrichment
• Minimum two years teaching experience as a Modern Foreign Language
• Experience teaching IB (MYP and DP) with ability to teach French Higher Level
• A commitment to student centred inquiry based learning
• Enthusiasm for pastoral care and building strong relationships with students; this includes homeroom teacher and PSHE responsibilities
• A growth-mindset looking to continually improve
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to a new cultural environment

Supply Teacher

• To be included in the supply teachers’ pool and will be working on an ad hoc basis when required
• Registered teacher with the Hong Kong Education Bureau
• Commitment to student-centred and inquiry-based learning
• Knowledge of relevant IB programmes (MYP, DP) an advantage
• Applicants must have the right to work in Hong Kong
