VSA Student Named Hong Kong’s Outstanding Student Again

Posted on: Wednesday 23 May 2018

We are very proud to announce that Michelle Kung of Year 12 has been named one of the nine awardees at Hong Kong Outstanding Students Award 2017-2018 among an initial pool of about 500 nominees. With the annual theme of "Giving is Outstanding", Michelle is recognised for her selfless dedication to community service through the setting up of the Love Reading Campaign for Thai and Vietnamese orphans, in addition to her leadership, outstanding academic and extra-curricular achievements.

This annual Award, organised by Youth Arch Foundation, was first established in 1985, with the aim to foster holistic development of students. The Award is now one of Hong Kong’s most recognised and prestigious awards for secondary students and has a resourceful network of alumni.

We are most happy for Michelle’s accomplishments. At the same we also congratulate our Year 11 students Candace Tsang and Ashley Kot for making it to the Top 20 and Top 53 respectively. Their will serve as great inspirations and role models for all fellow VSA students.
