VSA Scientists Work to Save the Environment

Posted on: Wednesday 26 Aug 2020

A group of Year 10 students participated in Hong Kong Student Science Project Competition 2020 and won the Second Runner-up as well as the Social Innovation Award.

The competition was jointly organized by The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, the Education Bureau and the Hong Kong Science Museum. With their creativity and excellent teamwork, our winning team transformed clamshells, a common food waste, into Sustainable Plastic by Clam Shells, which can act as an excellent fertilizer. Their work is an incredible contribution to our society in reducing waste disposal and in saving the environment.

Congratulations to our young VSA scientists!
